Eudora E-Mail Client Set Up Instructions

This tutorial applies to the following programs:
  1. Version 5 and above

You may use any POP3 enabled e-mail client to download and read your messages. However, we only provide instructions for the most popular clients available. If your e-mail client is not listed here, please check your program's help section or the maker's website for more details on setting up your e-mail.

In addition, our support is limited to the set up of your e-mail account within the e-mail client. CTS does not offer support, either on-line or by telephone, on how to use any specific features of your program.

Please note your basic account settings:

Account Name:
your full e-mail address
Password: enter your mail password

Inbound Mail Server / POP3: mail.yourdomain.com
Outbound SMTP Server: obtain this from your ISP.

Step 1

Make Sure Eudora is running.

From the top tool bar, click on the word TOOLS, the select Personalities from the drop down menu. The following screen will open.

Step 2

Using your right mouse button, move to the personalities window and right click to get a menu. Select New.

The New Account Wizard window will appear. Give the Personality a name, then follow the step-by-step instructions.

If you have forgotten your password, you will need to contact customer service, your local network or computer administrator, or use our on-line tools and submit a request.

Make sure CHECK MAIL is checked. If this is unchecked, Eudora will not download your mail.

If you check these options, you risk the possibility that your mailbox will reach it's storage limit. If this happens, any new mail sent to you by other's will be returned undeliverable.
